I have decided to re-open ParisDarkroom because of the many requests from photographers looking for traditional printing and negative processing services which have all but vanished in the dust from the digital revolution. Some years have passed since I closed up shop. Since that time I have been approached by my clients and photographers to produce traditional silver prints and develop negatives because nearly all labs have changed to digital, some no longer offering any traditional processing services.
My passion for silver photographic processes has not diminished, in fact my enthusiasm for the art and craft has only grown. For those of you who know me, no introduction is necessary. For those of you don't know me, have a look at my client list to get an idea of my credentials. I have pulled over one million prints in the past twenty five years.
Times have changed and so have materials, or I should say the choice of materials has decreased considerably but fortunately there are still some very fine papers being manufactured. And be assured that all processing is done to the highest standards of archival permanence.
I will only be accepting work by appointment so please contact me in advance of your production to book lab time. Good to be back in the loop, hope to see you all soon.
